Terms of service
Last updated 21 October 2026
These terms apply when you use TripCinema.com to turn your trip photos and videos into films. Please read them together with our privacy policy and refund policy.
1. Who we are
TripCinema.com is run by:
DreamVortex Internet ServicesEindhoven, the Netherlands
Company registration: KvK 90932099 · VAT: NL004854444B41
Email: support@tripcinema.com
2. The service
You upload photos and videos from a trip. We analyse them, pick the best moments and make a short film that you can watch, edit and download.
TripCinema is in private beta. Only invited email addresses can create an account, features may change, and the service may sometimes be slower or unavailable while we improve it.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Give a correct email address and keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Tell us at support@tripcinema.com if you think someone else has used your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from the account menu. This deletes your trips, uploads and films.
4. Your photos and videos
Everything you upload stays yours. You give us permission to store, copy, analyse and edit your uploads only as needed to run the service for you: to make, show and deliver your films and to keep the service secure. We process them privately: we don't use your uploads to advertise or to train AI models, we don't sell them, and we don't share them with other users.
You may only upload material you have the right to use. If other people can be recognised in it, make sure they are fine with appearing in your film. Don't upload anything illegal, including material that sexually exploits children, that infringes someone else's rights, or that is meant to harass or harm people. We may remove such material and close the account.
5. Your films
The films we make from your uploads are yours to keep, share and use for personal and other purposes. Music we add may only be used as part of your film; don't take it out to use on its own.
Free previews and films without the branding add-on include a TripCinema intro, outro and watermark.
The film is put together automatically. It may pick moments you wouldn't have chosen, and place names or dates may sometimes be wrong. You can change the film in the editor before downloading it.
6. Prices and payment
Each trip gets a free preview. The full film and the branding add-on are one-time purchases per trip, at the prices on our pricing page at the time you buy. During the private beta, films are free.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase, and Paddle shows your local currency and any taxes at checkout.
When you buy a full film, we start making it straight away. By asking us to start, you agree that your right to withdraw from the purchase ends once processing has started. This doesn't affect your right to a refund when the film fails; see the refund policy.
7. Keeping and deleting your files
We keep your uploads and films while your account is active, so you can make new films and download them again. You can delete a film, a trip or your whole account at any time.
Once payments launch, the photos and videos of trips that aren't bought are deleted about 7 days after you finish uploading. The trip itself and its preview stay in your account.
TripCinema is not a backup service. Keep your original photos and videos yourself.
8. Fair use
Don't try to get around limits or payments, access other people's accounts or trips, overload or attack the service, or copy or scrape it with automated tools. We may limit or suspend accounts that do.
9. Changes and ending the service
We may change or improve features, and may end the service. If we end it, we tell you at least 30 days in advance by email, so you can download your films.
You can stop using TripCinema at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms; where possible we warn you first.
10. Liability
We work hard to keep TripCinema reliable and your files safe, but we can't promise the service is always available or free of mistakes. As far as the law allows, our liability for damage is limited to the amount you paid us for the trip concerned in the 12 months before the damage. This doesn't limit liability for intent or gross negligence, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights that consumer law gives you.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters for you, we email you at least 30 days before it applies. If you don't agree, you can delete your account before then.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country, and you can take a dispute to the courts there.
